Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 August 2026
1. About these Terms
These Terms of Service, together with the rules set out below (the "Terms"), are a legally binding agreement between you and Seventh Revolution Private Limited ("99Models AI", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in India (CIN U62020MH2025PTC445984) with its registered office at Jalgaon, Maharashtra, India. They govern your access to and use of the website 99models.ai, our applications and every service offered through them (the "Service").
By creating an account, ticking an acceptance box, completing a purchase or otherwise using the Service, you accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund and Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These documents together are the rules and regulations, privacy policy and user agreement we publish under rule 3(1) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 (the "IT Rules"). They are published in English; if you need assistance understanding them in another language listed in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution of India, write to support@99models.ai.
2. Eligibility
The Service is available only to individuals who are at least 18 years of age and competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and to entities acting through such individuals. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly provide the Service to persons under 18; if we learn that an account belongs to a minor we will close it.
3. The Service
99Models AI provides access to artificial-intelligence models developed and hosted by third parties through a single interface: text conversations, image generation and editing, audio features, optional web search, and file storage connected to your conversations. Usage is paid for through prepaid credits (section 5). We may add, modify, suspend or withdraw features at any time; where a change materially reduces what you have already paid for, the Refund and Cancellation Policy applies.
4. Accounts and security
- You register with a mobile number or email address verified by one-time password. Keep your contact details accurate and your devices secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- One account per person. Do not share, sell or transfer an account.
- Notify us promptly at the support email below of any unauthorised use of your account.
- Information collected at registration is retained for 180 days after you cancel or withdraw your registration, as required by rule 3(1)(h) of the IT Rules, and thereafter deleted subject to legal retention duties.
5. Credits, pricing and payments
- The Service works on prepaid credits. The full amount payable for a recharge, including the platform fee and Goods and Services Tax, is shown as a single total with its break-up before you confirm a purchase.
- Every purchase requires your explicit, affirmative confirmation. We never pre-tick a consent box and we do not enrol you in any recurring or auto-debit arrangement; each recharge is a separate transaction you initiate.
- Payments are processed by RBI-regulated payment aggregators (currently Razorpay). We do not store your card details; card handling is subject to the Reserve Bank of India tokenisation framework.
- Model usage is metered and deducted from your credit balance at the rates shown in the product at the time of use. Rates can change prospectively; credits already purchased are not repriced.
- Credits are valid for 99 days from the date of the purchase that added them; unused credits lapse on expiry.
- Credits are not legal tender, carry no interest, and are not transferable. Their refundability is governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, store, update or share - and must not direct any model to create - information that:
- belongs to another person and to which you have no right;
- is obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another person’s privacy (including bodily privacy), insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, racially or ethnically objectionable, or that relates to or encourages money laundering or gambling, or promotes enmity between groups on grounds of religion or caste with intent to incite violence;
- is harmful to a child;
- infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary right;
- deceives or misleads the addressee about the origin of a message, or knowingly and intentionally communicates misinformation or information that is patently false and untrue or misleading in nature;
- impersonates another person;
- threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states or public order, or incites the commission of a cognisable offence, or prevents the investigation of an offence, or insults another nation;
- contains a software virus or other computer code, file or program designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer resource;
- promotes or facilitates serious self-harm, or violence against any person;
- violates any law for the time being in force.
You must also comply with the following restrictions:
- Security of the Service: do not probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service or any related system without our prior written authorisation; do not breach or circumvent any authentication, security or access control; do not introduce viruses, malware or other harmful code; and do not disrupt, overload or interfere with the Service or its use by others, including through denial-of-service attacks or abnormal request volumes.
- Metering, limits and billing: do not bypass, manipulate or attempt to evade usage metering, credit accounting, rate limits or quotas; do not exploit any pricing, metering or billing error (report it to us instead); and do not create or use multiple accounts to evade limits, restrictions, suspensions or bans.
- Safety systems and labels: do not bypass, disable or degrade any safety filter, moderation system or guardrail, whether ours or a model provider’s, including through prompts designed to elicit content prohibited by this section or section 7; and do not remove, suppress or alter the labels, watermarks or provenance metadata applied to synthetically generated content (section 7).
- Automated access and scraping: do not access the Service by any automated means - scraping, crawling, harvesting or bulk downloading - other than through interfaces we provide and document for that purpose; and do not mirror or frame the Service.
- Resale and account sharing: do not sell, resell, rent, sublicense or otherwise commercialise access to the Service or your account, and do not share your login credentials; each account is personal to one user (section 4).
- Reverse engineering: do not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, internal architecture, prompts or underlying models of the Service, except to the limited extent applicable law permits this despite a contractual restriction.
- Competing products and model training: do not use the Service or its outputs to develop, train, fine-tune or improve any artificial-intelligence model, to compile a dataset, or to build or benchmark a competing product, whether by systematic extraction of outputs or otherwise.
We monitor for abuse of the Service. If we reasonably suspect a violation of this section, we may immediately throttle, limit or suspend your access while we investigate, remove offending content, terminate access as described in section 12, and, where the law requires or permits, report the conduct to the appropriate authorities.
7. AI-generated content and synthetic media
Model outputs are generated by probabilistic systems. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, offensive or fabricated despite appearing confident, and they are per se not reliable. Verify outputs independently before relying on them. Outputs are not professional advice - medical, legal, financial or otherwise - and are not a substitute for one.
Images, audio and video created or altered with the Service may be "synthetically generated information" under the IT Rules. The Service labels such content and, where technically feasible, embeds provenance metadata and an identifier. You must not remove, suppress or modify these labels or metadata, and you must not use the Service to create synthetic media that violates any law, including content that: contains child sexual exploitation or abuse material or non-consensual intimate imagery; creates a false document or false electronic record; relates to the preparation or procurement of explosive material, arms or ammunition; or falsely depicts a real person or real-world event in a manner likely to deceive.
As required by rule 3(1)(ca) of the IT Rules, please note: creating or sharing unlawful synthetic media can attract penalties under applicable law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, the Representation of the People Act, 1951, the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986, the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, and the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956. Contravention may lead to immediate removal of the content, suspension or termination of your account, disclosure of your identity to a victim or a person acting on behalf of a victim in accordance with law, and reporting to the appropriate authority where the law mandatorily requires reporting.
8. Your content and outputs
- You retain all rights you hold in the prompts, files and other material you submit (your “Input”). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process and transmit your Input solely to operate the Service, including sending it to the third-party model and search providers needed to answer your request.
- We do not use your Input or your outputs to train artificial-intelligence models.
- As between you and us, we assign to you all our right, title and interest, if any, in the outputs generated for you. The legal status of rights in AI-generated works is unsettled in India; we do not warrant that any output is protectable, original, or non-infringing, and identical or similar outputs may be generated for other users.
- You are responsible for how you use outputs, including compliance with section 6 and section 7 and with the labelling obligations of the IT Rules when you republish synthetic media.
9. Our intellectual property
The Service - including its software, interface, design, trademarks and content other than your Input and your outputs - is owned by Seventh Revolution Private Limited or its licensors. No rights are granted except the limited right to use the Service under these Terms. Third-party model, provider and developer names and logos displayed on the Service are trademarks of their respective owners, used solely to identify the models and services offered; their display does not imply any affiliation with, or endorsement by, those owners.
10. Third-party services
Responses are produced by third-party models and, where you enable it, third-party web search. Their availability, behaviour and content policies are outside our control; a model or provider may be modified or withdrawn by its developer at any time. Payment services are provided by third-party payment aggregators under their own terms. The Service also includes open-source software components; their licence notices are published at 99models.ai/third-party-notices.txt.
Your use of the Service must also comply with the usage and acceptable-use policies of the third-party providers that serve your requests, which apply in addition to section 6. These include, as applicable, the policies of OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral AI, xAI, Together AI, OpenRouter, DeepInfra, Perplexity, fal, Sarvam AI and ElevenLabs.
Some models available on the Service are open-weight models whose developers attach their own licences and acceptable-use policies, which likewise apply to your use - including the Meta Llama Acceptable Use Policy, the Gemma Terms of Use and the DeepSeek model licence, among others. We may decline, filter, throttle or suspend requests where necessary to enforce any of these policies.
11. Moderation, removal and legal requests
- We may remove or disable access to information that violates these Terms or the law, on our own review, on a grievance, or on receipt of a court order or a reasoned government intimation, within the timelines the IT Rules prescribe.
- Where content is removed, associated records are preserved for 180 days (or longer if lawfully required) for investigation purposes, as required by rule 3(1)(g) of the IT Rules.
- We provide information or assistance to lawfully authorised government agencies within 72 hours of a valid written order, as required by rule 3(1)(j) of the IT Rules.
- Copyright owners may send takedown complaints as described on our Grievance Redressal page.
12. Suspension and termination
If you do not comply with these Terms, the Privacy Policy or the user agreement, we have the right to terminate or suspend your access immediately, to remove or disable access to non-compliant information, or both. We will remind users of this, and of the matters in section 7, periodically and at least once every three months, as the IT Rules require. You may stop using the Service at any time, and you can request deletion of your account by email as described in the Privacy Policy; sections 8, 9, 13, 14, 15 and 18 survive termination.
13. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and your use of it is at your sole risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our licensors and suppliers disclaim all warranties and conditions of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory - including merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, availability, reliability, security and compatibility, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that outputs will be accurate, complete or reliable (section 7). You are responsible for keeping your own copies of any Input or output that you cannot afford to lose.
Features identified as beta, preview, experimental or similar are provided "as is" and "with all faults"; commitments in these Terms that would otherwise apply do not apply to such features, and we may change or withdraw them at any time without notice.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that cannot be limited by agreement.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither we nor our directors, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, licensors or suppliers (including the third-party model, search and infrastructure providers behind the Service) will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, use or data, business interruption, or cost of substitute services, arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms - whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, statute or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages, and even if a limited remedy set out in these Terms fails of its essential purpose.
To the same extent, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 90 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) INR 1,000. The existence of more than one claim will not enlarge this limit.
This section allocates the risks under these Terms between you and us, is a fundamental element of the basis of the bargain, and is reflected in the pricing of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Indian law, including liability for fraud, or your non-excludable rights as a consumer.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless us and our directors, officers, employees, agents and affiliates from and against third-party claims, liabilities, damages and expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your Input, your use of the Service or of outputs, or your breach of these Terms or of applicable law, except to the extent caused by our own breach or negligence. We will notify you of any such claim; we may elect to assume control of its defence at our own expense; and you must not settle any such claim in a manner that imposes any obligation on us without our prior written consent.
16. Changes to the Service or these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will change, and we will inform users of material changes through the Service, as required by rule 3(1)(f) of the IT Rules. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. Grievance redressal
Complaints about the Service, about content, or about these Terms are handled by our Grievance Officer under the process, timelines and escalation routes (including the Grievance Appellate Committee) described on our Grievance Redressal page.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any non-excludable rights you have as a consumer (including the right to approach the consumer commissions under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019), the courts at Jalgaon, Maharashtra, India have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
19. General
- If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect.
- You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition or reorganisation.
- We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
- If you send us feedback or suggestions about the Service, we may use them without restriction or obligation to you.
- These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund and Cancellation Policy are the entire agreement between you and us for the Service.
